About
Welcome to Joyride Pizza, where innovation meets deliciousness in every bite. Nestled in the heart of San Francisco at 411 Valencia St, this vibrant eatery perfectly marries the comforting familiarity of pizza with the refreshing zing of salads.
Joyride Pizza excels in providing a unique dining experience with its Detroit-style pizza, known for its thick, bready crust that’s satisfying yet light enough to enjoy without feeling weighed down. One customer raved about the Pestorrific Chicken n Ranch, saying the crispy edges and toppings made it a standout dish. With options for everyone, including vegan alternatives, Joyride Pizza ensures that all diners can find something to savor.
Besides pizzas, the menu features tantalizing sides such as the Cesar Salad, which offers a refreshing contrast to the rich, hearty pies. Don’t miss out on their house-made Chocolate & Walnut Blondies or the luxurious New York-style cheesecake, rumored to be the best outside of NYC.
What struck me about Joyride Pizza is not only the quality of the food but also the warmth of the service. Even when mistakes happen, as evidenced by a customer's experience, Joyride Pizza goes above and beyond to rectify situations, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. This friendly atmosphere combined with their delicious offerings makes it ideal for groups or casual get-togethers.
So whether you’re craving a thick slice of Detroit-style pizza, enjoying a meal outdoors with friends, or trying their refreshing salads, Joyride Pizza is definitely worth a visit. Grab your friends, head on over, and let the flavor journey begin!
“ we got the 13) Pestorrific Chicken n Ranch with extra ricotta added on. this spot is a detroit style pizza place with super thick crust. you order at a kiosk and your number is called when its ready. on the inside they have a self-serve area with napkins, sanitizer, parmesan, pepper flakes, utensils, etc. outside there is limited outdoor seating! if you're looking for a good pizza place i would check this one out!! ”
“ Update - A huge thank you to Joshua for quickly reaching out to me and trying to resolve the issue. I felt a bit silly about asking for a $3 refund (I keep telling myself that it's not about the money, it's the principle!) but after about a month of following up over email, DoorDash (who runs the pickup order website) was unable to provide me the refund due to too much time passing since the order (which was their fault for not promptly responding to the issue). What ended up happening is Joshua sent me a $25 gift card for my troubles, which is way more than what was needed to rectify the situation, and I greatly appreciate. We hope to come back soon to use it, but if not, I'm really grateful for the gesture of good will. The takeaway is: Order mistakes happen, and when they do, I do trust Joyride will do everything they can fix it. DoorDash can be a bit difficult to work with sometimes, but that's not Joyride's fault at all! Thank you, Joshua! ”
“ Wooooow their pizza is amazing! I loved the crispy edges and they came out really quickly! We got the pesto chicken pizza (we chose fake chicken) and it was amazing I'm glad we have 2 extra slices with us and I'll eat it as soon as I get home probably It was raining today and made me wish they had indoor seating but it's okay, still very much worth it ”
“ Love the setup of the place & I thought it would be a bit pricey for the location, but nope. Fair prices & good food. Only tried the #5 all meat pizza it was ok, only took two bites, got full fast. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out. ”
“ thick ass bready ass pizza rich and greasy but still hits personally. a bit pricy but it's san francisco so. caesar salad brought the freshness needed with this pizza. ”
